This elegant work of Art Deco design is attributed to the work of British pottery Brentleigh Ware, otherwise known as the Howard Pottery Company based in Stoke on Trent, UK. The beautifully moulded form of this piece bears exceptionally well-balanced and stylised Art Deco accents in its curves and arches, creating a wonderful canvas for Brentleigh Ware's iconic hand painted decor.

The base décor is a rich layer of semi-matte Powdered Peach that is overlaid with dapplings of white. Upon the base is a hand painted scene of stylised trees and flora in Powdered Chinoise green, Prussian blue and complimentary browns. The palette rests on an encircling of Mahogany brown at the base of the vase. This charming work is stylistically timeless yet very Art Deco, the combination of the form, colour palette and the overall condition makes it a rare find for a piece that is c. 100 years old
