THE ITEM

Presenting a superb work of Modernist design by Karlsruher Majolika.

This piece is simple in form but divinely detailed in the glaze. The base glaze is a shade of ecru stone and overlaid with a mottling and freckling of black coffee and tones of slate grey and light slate blue. A band of the light slate blue is present at the neck of the piece and the lamp base is finished with a circlet of polished teak.

This work would suit a number of interior decor styles, such as Retro, Mid Century Modern and Industrial.
