THE ITEM
This hypnotic work of hand blown art glass has been crafted using the widely known Fenecio technique.
Fenicio, also known as Ploomed, Festooned, or Feathered Glass, is one of the oldest decorative glass-making techniques that has been in use as far back as the ancient Phoenicians and Egyptians.
This particular piece has threads of cobalt blue which have been combed to create the wavy, feather like effect. Interspersed within the blue is a freckling of soft, pale mint green.
CONDITION
Superb. No chips or cracks, there is mild use wear that is commensurable with the age of the piece and a soft fold created during crafting, please refer to photos as part of the condition report.
